Periodically throughout the year volunteers are needed for collating the parish

Coffee Volunteers:
These hospitality ministers extend the fellowship experience
by providing refreshments after the 8:00 AM, 10:30 AM & 6:00 PM liturgies.
They brew coffee and set out the tables so everything is ready
immediately after mass. Participants are responsible for one Sunday each

Cornerstone Retreat: Cornerstone is a 26-hour over-night retreat experience held
on-site annually, and separately for women and men. This parish-based
retreat program promotes a strong parish community, rooted in prayer and faith
sharing from a common shared experience. Candidates for the weekend become
team members for the next retreat.
Cursillo:
A weekend retreat (Thursday - Sunday) is held separately for
women and men. Deepen your faith and commit this time to talk to God and
discover what God is doing in your life? At follow-up meetings we discuss
how we met Christ during the week or how it seemed Christ wasn't there.
This helps us keep a daily focus on being in God's presence. Contact Mike

Library: A
variety of books, periodicals, audio and video tapes for all ages are available
for browsing or borrowing, using the honor system. There are no limits on
material or deadlines for return, other than consideration for others who might
like what you have borrowed. The library is open during office hours, on

Men's Bible Study/Prayer Group:
A group of men meet every Thursday at 7:00 AM for

M.O.M.S. Ministry: Mothers come together for this 8-session program to pray,
discuss issues affecting their lives and to share readings from the book MOMS: A
Personal Journal. Mothers will learn to plan time for themselves and will
discover how motherhood really is a ministry. This ministry offers women
an opportunity to develop self-esteem, relationship skills, and a more defined
sense of their own spirituality. Childcare is available. The cost is

Office Volunteers: Friendly enthusiastic people who are the first contact with
visitors and members of the parish. Answer phones, enter information in
the computer, copy material for staff and organizations, clip articles and
record mass cards. Half-day shifts available on a regular basis.

Returning Catholic: Adults who have
been away from their faith and have questions on how to return are welcome home.

Small Christian Communities:
If you are involved in a parish activity, you are in a small Christian
community. All groups are encouraged to begin and end their gatherings
with prayer. In addition, faith-sharing groups meet weekly to pray, read
scripture, and share their faith so they can grow in relationship with God and

Spirit of Life: A Respect Life Ministry: A
ministry concerned with all human life issues from conception to natural death.
These include abortion, embryonic stem cell research, cloning, assisted suicide,
euthanasia, and capital punishment. Its guidelines are formed by the
Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church, Papal teachings, the U.S. Conference of
Catholic Bishops, and the Marriage and Respect Life Department of the Diocese of
Phoenix. All promote prayer, education, and action to achieve a Culture of

Women's Guild:
The Women's Guild is a vibrant group of women committed to
service. More than 100 members provide services to people in our parish
community and beyond. Guild members host funeral receptions, the Anointing
of the Sick liturgy (held twice a year), as well as other parish social events.
Membership dues are $5.00 and meeting are held the second Tuesday of the month,
